“This picture was taken when my family and I were invited to the NMA for the dedication of the Afghanistan Bastion Wall. My brother was taken from us in March 2011 just 4 days from finishing a 6 month tour. On special occasions like this we will always hold our head high and smile for him, because being upset would only hurt him because he can wipe away our tears. We love our dear Mark to the end of the universe and back. The NMA gives families of the fallen a place where they can think and reflect.”
